THE 2008 MS. WHEELCHAIR
MASSACHUSETTS PAGEANT

The New Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts Will Be Crowned on
April 6, 2008!
It is not too late to submit an application for the 2008 Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts Pageant!  The Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts
Committee would be absolutely thrilled to have you participate! I have to say, that my experience as Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts 2005
has been as wonderful as it has been productive and I think any woman with a disability would be proud to be a part of it.

FILL OUT AN APPLICATION TODAY!

Upon receiving the application fee you will be sent a packet with the finalized itinerary and all of the information you will need about the
pageant. The application fee will be used to cover the three meal costs for each contestant and a companion, the service fees of the pageant
venue and the miscellaneous costs associated with the pageant, such as contestant t-shirts, programs, runners-up sashes and the sash and
tiara for the titleholder. You can choose to pay the pageant fee yourself or you can seek sponsors.

The benefit of getting sponsorship is that may help you raise further monies to cover transportation costs to and from the pageant. Also, if
you are chosen as the titleholder you will need sponsorship to cover expenses for your public appearances and for your trip to and
participation in the National Pageant in July. Fortunately, I have been able to raise a bit of money and am continuing to solicit sponsorship
so I am hoping that the Massachusetts Program will be able to provide some financial assistance to the new titleholder. As the 1st Ms.
Wheelchair Massachusetts I have laid quite a bit of groundwork for sponsorship avenues...so please don't let the fees discourage
you...raising the money for the pageant was much easier than I had anticipated, even without an established program behind me. Ms.
Wheelchair Massachusetts  2008 will have the benefit of a program behind her.

PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND PLAN ON PARTICIPATING IN THIS WONDERFUL PROGRAM!  PLEASE CALL OR WRITE
WITH QUESTIONS, SUGGESTIONS OR CONCERNS!  EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO ACCOMMODATE AND ASSIST
POTENTIAL CONTESTANTS IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE SO THAT THEY CAN PARTICIPATE IN THIS GREAT EVENT!
