                     MISSION STATEMENT


My services are not intended to tell anyone how to live their life or do their job.  My intention, and the reason
why I founded C.A.L.L. is to provide a wide range of services that would assist in facilitating  maximum  
independence for people with disabilities.  As someone who lives with a significant physical disability I am
hoping to use my personal experiences...both negative and positive…to help others navigate many of the
obstacles that can come from living with a disability.

My skills training services are provided to individuals with disabilities, their families, work places, schools and
other institutions.  I believe by outlining some common misconceptions and providing alternative  thought  
processes and strategies when it comes to disability, individuals, families, schools and work places will gain a
broadened sense of opportunity for the disabled.  All will be better equipped to promote productivity and self
reliance to people with disabilities.

Being disabled for many years myself, I have a credibility that enables me to provide peer support to both
individuals and families dealing with disability.   Through my own personal experiences living with a disability
and by working with people with all types of disabilities I have learned to  identify self-limiting behavior and
have devised strategies and problem-solving techniques that can be used by individuals and families to
maximize the opportunities provided by schools and other institutions in the pursuit of goals...and even
seemingly unreachable dreams.

There are many resources available to people with disabilities.    Sometimes the road to these resources can
be rather challenging and frustrating.  Having  navigated these roads many  times myself I can provide a
‘map’ for the journey towards independence and, hopefully, a healthy and fulfilling life.

I truly subscribe to the thought that “ whether you believe you can do a thing or not you are right.”  I hope that
the services offered by C.A.L.L. will provide many with the opportunity to believe.
