"The senator and his staff were incredibly
generous with their time, and very supportive of
my Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts endeavor.  The
senator was kind enough to let me sit in on a
meeting and arrange to have me introduced in the
Senate Chamber.  It was wonderful to be
welcomed at the State House again...people are
even starting to recognize me!  I am looking
forward to the State House Event I am hosting on
the 23rd to commemorate Special Needs
Awareness Day!"

"Patrick Princi, from Senator O'Leary's office has been
invaluable with his generosity in helping me plan my

Nurse's Hall where it is going to be held and to plan an
agenda that includes keynote speeches by
Representative Tom Kennedy and Senate Majority
Leader Fred Berry."

spectacular event!  It is always
attended by community leaders and
raises money to support important

a wonderful asset to the community,

"The State House Event, 'Assistive Technology:  A
Prescription for Opportunity', that I hosted with
Senator Rob O'Leary exceeded my expectations!
Despite some last minute line-up changes, the
program was positively received and well
attended by lawmakers, staffers, industry
representatives and the public.  It was a fitting
way to commemorate Special Needs Awareness
Day in the Commonwealth!  Special thanks to
Patrick Princi who really helped me put it all
together!

"I wasn't sure what to expect at my meeting with
Commissioner Doug Taylor as the meeting was
scheduled at his request.  I was so impressed by
his commitment to increase the accessibility of
Provincetown. We toured Commercial Street and
the beautiful new town library, that I am happy to
report is completely accessible, and I look
forward to working with him on making
Provincetown a more wheelchair friendly place!"
