After taking a little time to enjoy the fireworks and festivities of the Fourth of July it was work, work, work as I prepared
for the national pageant, "Women Making History" being held in Albany, New York at the end of the month.

My biggest challenge was perfecting my speech  and making sure it was no longer than 2 1/2 minutes!  Almost as hard as
