disabilities, but also to lead by example."   

"Leading by Example"
Kristen McCosh is a gifted speaker and writer. She received a BA in English from
the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and works as a Grant Writer and
Volunteer Coordinator at the South Boston Neighborhood House.  She is
currently working on a Women’s Fiction novel series featuring disabled women
as heroines.
She was chosen “Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts 2007” based on her
accomplishments and ability to be a spokesperson for people with disabilities. She
lives in South Boston and Falmouth with her husband John.
