Thank you for printing such an inspiring story
about a truly heroic young woman, Laurel Labdon
("Portrait of a Contender," Feb. 24).
Her strength of character and determination
should be lessons to all.
I ,for one, am proud that she will be representing
Cape Cod, Mass., at the July national wheelchair
