DINNER
To celebrate the proximity to Saratoga Springs and honor
the best known horse race from the then Executive Director,
Pat O'Bryant's home state of Kentucky the contestants,
family and friends donned 'bonnets' and had a fun night at
the races!

Elaine Stefanowitz

was Ms. Wheelchair
America 1997.  During
her reign she met
President and Mrs.
Clinton and
Christopher Reeve.  
She has a Master's
Degree in Human
Resources and
currently works as a
recruitment specialist
at a Tacoma College.

Head Judge,
Smokey
Spencer
, is a prominent
businessman as well as a
dedicated advocate working
as a lobbyist for the home
health care industry.  He
currently the CEO of
Dreams, Inc., a non-profit
organization dedicated to
educating the public about
disability issues and
awareness.
Peggy Kirkwood has been involved with the Ms.
Wheelchair Programs for many years.  She has
judged on both state and national levels.
She has worked for
the Equal
Opportunity
Commission for 34
years.

Gloria Murray has
worked in health care for
many years, as a nurse and
running a Home Medical
Equipment company.  She
is a member of several
medical equipment
associations in New York
and New England.

Vicki Nisich
was Ms.
Wheelchair South Dakota
1998-99 and served on the MWA
Board for several years.  Vicki
has worked in the disability field
for 13 years.  She loves
swimming, skiing, traveling and
playing the flute
Judging Coordinator,
Linda Jones has served
as a judging coordinator
for several MWA
pageants and is very
active in the Ms.
Wheelchair Georgia
program.  Linda is an
avid quilter.
